Staying here, it's not a problem

Did I mention we aren't moving to Caerphilly anymore? Well, we aren't. We got a mortgage and a house lined up but decided not to exchange contracts due to grim behaviour by both the estate agent and the vendor. I think we had a lucky escape in retrospect. The house was nice but I think we might have felt a bit claustrophobic living there eventually as it was quite a small terrace and we compromised on the garden too so that was very tiny.

We have decided to stay where we are for a few more months and try and save to get together a slightly bigger deposit. I really want to buy a house as soon as possible as I find myself wanting the security and I feel that we need to be planning more for the future now we have a child.

Staying here is not a problem. We live in a beautiful village in a lovely flat, and although it's getting a big small for us it's still perfectly fine for a while. It would be nice to have a special room to put all our baby's things but he won't need his own room for a few years yet. He sleeps in with us and that shows no sign of stopping any time soon.

  1. This makes me not want to move! At least until we get some sun or some snow!
